The sun came out last weekend and although we're already moving into November we haven't met the usual first fall frost whatsoever. Instead of bundling up head to toe in furry coats and wool-lined boots I am enjoying this Indian Summer to its fullest by wearing multiple layers of knitwear. Yesterday I've spent the afternoon in my dressing room trying to transition my wardrobe and retire my summer clothes for a few months. Sleeveless dresses, tropical printed shorts and gladiator sandals were easily packed but with temperatures still being a lot warmer than your average November I had some difficulties hiding away those season-fluid pieces like floral dresses, short-sleeved shirts and tailored blazers. For example, I bumped into my quite summer-ish denim jacket and instead of stashing it away with the rest of my summer outerwear I figured the cool oversized silhouette could add an alternative look to my new favorite skirt by La Pomme de Loveley. Contemporary chic, check!
