REVEALING THE NURSERY
11.11.17

Probably one of the things I've enjoyed most during my pregnancy was styling the nursery. I wanted to achieve a room that made me feel just as happy to hang out in as it will make him in the coming time. Being limited to a pink or blue color scheme feels quite old-fashioned to me so I decided to go for a gender-neutral design, kid friendly and perfectly suited to the baby but yet sophisticated and matching the rest of our house.
Our future son will be staying in a room with a rather neutral color palette in whites and grey with playfully printed wallpaper and decorated with pops of green and a bunch of gold toned accents. Next to a very cozy sleeping corner with the soothing and swaying cradle by Leander I wanted to create an area with a comfy arm chair for the husband and I to relax in with the baby. Once he will be a little older it will be a practical place for him to play in as well.
I've received so many questions about the nursery in the last couple of months and today I am happy to share the wonderland of our future family member with you. It is our first born so I hope I haven't missed out on anything. If you have any thoughts, tips or advice, please don't hesitate to let me know in the comments below.
Happy Weekend!
