A few days ago I've shared the first part of our St.Malo souvenirs over here (read all about it here). Last week we enjoyed the ultimate long weekend getaway at Saint-Malo in Brittany, northwestern France. Together with the hubby I escaped the busy week for four super relaxing days at Grand Hotel Des Thermes Saint-Malo. Not only did we get head over heels for Saint-Malo's ancient walled city, colorful houses and beautiful beach, the majestic Belle Epoque architecture of our five star hotel is what actually took our breath away.
Grand Hotel Des Thermes Saint-Malo is by far one of the most breathtaking hotels I've ever been lucky to stay at. On top of that our entire stay was tailored to our needs with a stunning hotel room overlooking the sea, two days of unwinding with sauna, seawater swimming pool, multi-jet baths, massages and other treatments and some impressive gourmet dining in one of the three delicious restaurants of the hotel. Together with long walks by the sea, strolling local flea markets and visiting the many historical sites of the city, we found our personal ultimate getaway recipe.
Today I'm spotlighting our second day at Saint-Malo.
