Hello from the office once more! Every now and again I fall in love with something other than a pair of Gucci loafers or an oversized Isabel Marant jacket. I have recently welcomed some new technology on my desk and as I have honestly never met a laptop as appealing as this one, I believe it deserved a decent spotlight on the blog today.
My new partner in crime is called the HP Spectre and with its high gloss copper accents and two-tone finish it instantly adds a luxurious look-and-feel to my desk. After four years I had almost gotten the life out of my iMac and although I am still keeping it as my primary work machine for photo editing and writing, I could no longer resist the call for a new laptop. As a blogger and freelancer I often find myself taking on too much work and am quite often out for meetings and events. On top there's also a lot of time spent at the office and behind my desktop and after all these years it began to strain my spine. When I had to bang out some work from the road or simply wanted to switch the office for the couch I had my hubby's Macbook at my disposal but these last few months I could no longer ignore I was in desperate need of a portable device of my own, more powerful than my tablet.
After having figured out what I wanted to use it for and having listed out what I prefer, I have to admit I still found quite some difficult in the search. And somehow I never made the purchase. Until this HP beauty caught my eye a few weeks ago. The gloss copper accents, 13 inch scratch resistant display, Bang & Olufsen speakers, backlit keyboard, glass trackpad,... they all more than meet my needs! The new HP Spectre is the world's thinnest laptop and I am completely in love with how easy it is to carry around; small enough to fit in my bag and light enough to hold with one hand. Finishing my daily writings from the couch or bed, the HP Spectre has not only added tons of glamour but also tons of flexibility and comfort to my life.
