Fashion often involves taking risks. Is that ridiculously expensive bag worth the investment - yes, I keep using the word 'invest' despite a lot of eye-rolling from my husband's side - or should I wait for sales to arrive? You probably all recognize this very female struggle popping up at least once per season. More than a year ago I got tempted by Isabel Marant to step outside my comfort zone and invest in a gorgeous grey ruffled midi skirt called 'Mills'. But since Mrs. Marant always comes with a price tag and I wasn't so sure about its versatility I decided not to run the risk. Until the skirt suddenly was sold out everywhere and I - what did you expect? - ended up regretting not having spiced up my closet with this Marant beauty. But when one waits long enough your patience can be well rewarded. That's exactly what I experienced when bumping into a copy of the Isabel Marant Mills skirt at Zara a few weeks ago. Didn't spend, did save. Hooray!
