In some very rare occasions you will find me cheating on bags, shoes and clothes but even then there's always a clear touch of fashion to be found; from surfing the web for the perfect Missoni plaid over spoiling myself with the latest Balenciaga fragrance to flipping through a book that covers pictures from one of my all-time favorite fashion icons pictured by the ultimate fashion photographer of his generation. I'm talking about this must have Taschen coffee table book called Kate Moss by Mario Testino today.

A few weeks ago I discovered this one in my mailbox and as I consider myself one of the presidents of the Kate Moss fan club - always loved her and always will - my heart almost skipped a beat. Kate Moss by Mario Testino is an impressive compilation of of one of fashion’s most extraordinary friendships, from early days backstage at the shows to behind-the-scenes glimpses of the ground-breaking editorials they continue to produce for the world’s most respected magazines. It's an ode from Testino to his greatest muse and an intimate insight into the lives and minds of two of the world’s definitive style leaders. With over 100 images in black-and-white and color, including many previously unseen private photographs, this book is a must have for every Kate Moss fan worldwide. In these last few weeks I have been flipping through it every other day and although every page features the exact same model I find it to be surprisingly versatile and never ever boring. The bright pictures on the shiniest paper are pure eye-candy and are clearly telling a story. Some of them are said to be from Testino’s private archive and are apparently published here for the first time. Have I told you before? Kate Moss by Mario Testino is MUST HAVE!

All Taschen books are available in the new Taschen store in Brussels (Grote Zavel, Rue Lebeaustraat 18, 1000 Bruxelles).
