APPROVED // BRAUN SILK-EPIL 7 SKINSPA

11.7.13

Summer 's here and how does one celebrate the hottest season of them all? By showing off bare legs! As for me, I'm enjoying skirts, shorts and dresses to the fullest thanks to my new Braun Silk-épil 7 SkinSpa.

Now first I have to confess that when I received this newbie a few months ago it did scare me a lot. Epilators have never been my best friends. Advertisements are screaming words like 'simple' and 'painless' but after a few try outs years ago I kept considering them to be very painFUL.
The Braun Silk-épil 7 SkinSpa is worth a blogpost cause it instantly changed my whole idea on epilators. I won't tell you I effortlessly didn't feel a thing but the days of bathroom torture are definitely over. I think that has much to do with the fact that you can use the Braun Silk-épil 7 SkinSpa under water. In my experience epilating is much less painful on wet skin than on dry skin. Massage rollers relax your skin before and after the tweezing and the advanced Smartlight technology ensures that not even the finest hairs are missed. On the plus the newest Braun epilator comes with a peeling brush for extremely smooth and silky legs.

My review in short: I don't think I would have ever spent so much money on this device simply cause I never believed in painless epilation. But this Braun Silk-épil 7 SkinSpa is definitely worth a recommendation if you're looking for superior tweezing and long-lasting smooth legs. I used it two weeks ago and still my legs feel smooth and silky. Thumbs up for Braun! I already threw out my razors.

So tell me, what about you? Are you already using epilators? Or are you ready to give them a try?

The Braun Silk-épil 7 SkinSpa is available since February 2013 (€189,99)

  1. I'm not using epilators yet, but your review sounds very appealing. Currently I'm still using old school razors..

  4. I used them for years, then wax, and now I have discovered pulsed light permanent epilation which is the greatest invention. It's quite expensive, but after 6 visits, I have barely no hair left. I wish I had been able to try it before, when you think of the time and money spend, it's money well spent. It's fabulous to not have to think about you hair anymore.
