Starting off with yet another time asking you to forgive me my prolonged absence. I guess recovering from moving in your new house and finishing up all the details does take quite a bit more time than expected...
Today I'm revealing a first glimpse inside my office. I thought you'd might like to have a look at where I'm blogging from. As I am spending the majority of my time at my desk I wanted my workspace to be classy yet cozy while still representing my ever growing love affair with everything eclectic and floral. To me it was quite important that my office space would have good lighting, reflect my personal style and allow some clutter while still keeping me concentrated and inspired. I find myself being constantly on the lookout for interesting objects that can stand on their own. The most important elements are a vintage brass and glass table, a pair of second hand rattan chairs, the most comfortable vintage looking yet brand new office chair I scored at Meubelen Online, my stunning shiny palmtree lamp I received for my thirtieth birthday two years ago, a mirrored side table by LaForma via Robin Design and my husband's old bookcase we made the most of by painting it green and gold and styling it with lots of books, pictures and vintage treasures.
There's still a lot of work to be done but I think we already succeeded in making the office space a warm and cozy one I will definitely work better in.
