Our wedding day may be far gone but I still find myself being majorly obsessed with pretty party settings and more specifically beautiful tablescapes. For our wedding we made up our own Italian inspired menu and decorated the tables mainly in white with a subtle touch of silver and gold and a not so subtle touch of vibrant colorful flowers, very similar to to what our dinner parties at home look like. I like my tablescapes to be traditional yet with an unexpected edge. When having friends over at our place I try to recreate the atmosphere of a restaurant surrounded by the coziness of our own home.

Now, this may seem simple and fun to some of us but I do have noticed quite some friends having difficulties making decisions on how to style their table, telling me to be hesistant on adding too much decorations as they are afraid of ending up with pure kitsch.
