Picking an outfit wasn't really a big task for me last weekend. There was only one goal: to keep the new necklace in focus. As I consider my new Fiona Paxton jewelry to be one of the main reasons we've ever started talking about statement necklaces this was of course one very petite styling challenge. This necklace was obviously designed to show off so I was left no choice but teaming it with as many neutrals as possible. Mission accomplished, almost. I couldn't resist a last minute change and slip on my new Sperry shoes while leaving my beige Converse sneakers by the door. And you all know I'm not the biggest fan when it comes to pairing colors or prints but in some sort of way I do believe the bold snakeskin print of my shoes emphasizes the strong character of the necklace. So what do you think? Optimum impact, yes or no?
