BAKING OF // CAKE POPS

21.4.13

What to do on a lazy weekend afternoon? Try out your new Lékué Cake Pops baking tray.
At least that was what my Saturday afternoon looked like.
My camera joined me the entire time and I really wanted to share with you the 'baking of' of these unique and delicious round cakes.

At first preheat your oven at 180°C.
Then I used premixed baking powder and added four eggs.

Mix up briefly.

Fill the semi-spheres of the base of the mould to the brim.

Put the lid on top.

Bake the cake pops for twenty minutes at 180°C until they have risen.

Remove from the oven, leave to cool for a few minutes before removing from mould.
Insert the sticks into each cake pop.

Melt 270gr of chocolate with 90gr of butter and 30gr of cream in bain marie.

Carefully coat the Cake Pops in the chocolate glaze, remove any excess glaze.
Afterwards leave them to dry in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

To finish it up I decorated them with chocolate pearls.

Now please DO try this at home yourself!
